Something on searchz that infringes your copyright, is illegal, or breaks our terms of use or artist terms? That can be a song an artist uploaded (its audio, title or cover), a free song whose licence isn't right, someone's name or picture, or a message. Tell us here. This form, or an email to [email protected], is our point of contact for notices about content, for everyone, rights holders and authorities included. searchz is run by Pieter Steenbergh, Wittenburgerweg 38, 2244 CB Wassenaar, the Netherlands.

What happens next

• We confirm by email that we've received it, and look at it within 24 hours.
• If it infringes or breaks the rules, we take it down: a song stops playing in the app and on searchz.eu, and its artist sees why in their studio. We tell you, and the person who put it up, what we decided and why.
• Think we got it wrong? Reply to our email and we'll look at it again.
• In the app you can also report a song from its ••• menu or its Song info, and report people from their profile or a chat.

Notices without a name and email can't be handled, except reports of child sexual abuse material: send those, and we pass them on to the authorities.
